I really want to go back to McLeod though, I miss it so much and I miss everyone there along with being excited to meet the new people that have arrived! I think I willl be going on Monday after I have finished with all of my tests at the HOspital!

That is right…..Monday I will be undergoing an Upper GI Series, no worries though it won’t be so bad, just an x-ray is all! Then I get to go to school! YAY! so wish me luck and I will let you know how it goes.

I haven’t seen Jared in a week, I hope that I get to see him soon!

Either way a lot of people do not know what Crohn’s Disease Is so I thought that I would Lay down the law for ya here in this lovely little blog that I have created.

What is Crohn’s Disease??

Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory disease of the digestive system that may affect any area of the gastrointestinal tract from the mouth to the umm…..arg…..bum??? Various parts of the bowel may be affected by Crohn’s disease either in continuity or as separate areas. It frequently affects the terminal ileum (the end of the small intestine), especially the section that joins with the large intestine or colon, which may also often be affected. Bummer I Know.

The inflammation involves the full thickness of the bowel wall and consists of swelling, dilated blood vessels, and loss of fluid into the tissues.

Onset of Crohn’s disease may occur at any age, however, it most frequently first occurs in young people, and about 10% of newly diagnosed cases are in children under age 10. Yeah so me I am not under 10 ha ha ha. Once a diagnosis of Crohn’s disease is made, various treatments are employed that help relieve symptoms, but as yet there is no cure. The Crohn’s experience can differ widely. Some people never develop complications, some only strictures, some abdominal abscesses, and others only peri-anal and intestinal fistulas.

Incidence of this disease varies throughout the world but has been increasing significantly in recent years.

So guys it really isn’t all that bad, after all it could be worse…….

Onto a happier subject…. I just bought some new curtains for rez! They are this awesome blue! If you didn’t know my room has a theme this year and will be mainly Blue Black Grey and white, I think it will look awesome! I still have a lot to do before I move back to Freddy and I am still not quite ready to go but I am sure that when I do head up I will be pumped! or amped….which ever word properly describes how I will feel! ha ha…..

I am looking forward to seeing Joshi Toshi very soon, you don’t really realize the extent to which you miss someone until they are gone for a long time. Although we have had some good times as well as some bad ones I am sure that we will remain friends for the duration of time…..wow that sounded nerdy to the extreme!

Anyhoo gotta get planning for frosh week stuff…..Chad Ramsay, my proctor will be calling later for an update so I had better get to it!
